Alicia Witt, a singer, songwriter and pianist, is well-known for her work as an actor. She has played music from the moment she began appearing on the screen. After working mainly as a pianist, she released her own EP which showcased her obvious ties to the likes of Elton John and Billy Joel with a powerful and warm voice that matched the music. Revisionary History was her first studio album. The album was co-produced by Ben Folds. The Conduit in 2021 marked her debut release as co-producer. Alicia Witt made her first film appearance in the role of Alia Atreides in the 1984 film adaptation by David Lynch of Frank Herbert's Dune. Even though she wasn't ten yet, it is no surprise that she was classified as an actress rather than a pianist, despite playing the piano for at least all the time she's been on screen. Although she was onscreen more but her profession as a musician didn't start until the year 1995.
