Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN on 20 July 2021. She is CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. She covers everything, starting with NASA and the Space Force and commercial space companies, to the emergence of Space Tourism. Being the child of 2 NASA astronauts, Kristin has a background in the space industry and spent the last five years covering the Biden and Trump Space Policy of the Administration as a White House Correspondent for FOX News. While there she also covered two impeachment proceedings for President Trump and the presdiential 2020 campaign, as well as two administration's efforts to contain the pandemic of coronavirus. Her extensive travels with the president and vice-president also included a trip exclusive to Afghanistan and Afghanistan, which she travelled on with Donald Trump. Before joining the network in the year 2015, Kristin spent nearly a 10 years working her way up through the local news channels in Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she was awarded the Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin founded Field Mouse Films with her experience behind the camera in the year 2014. The firm specialized on making documentaries for corporate clients, which included Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin is a Bachelor in Science in Journalism which she obtained from Boston University. She lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and their three year old daughter.
